‘If My Dad Were Alive’ new series goes on ifilm playlist

ifilm has started screening new series ‘If My Dad Were Alive’ as of August 25, 2017.

The series, produced by Mohammad Rezaei and directed by Homayoun Asadian, is a comedy.

Teymour has been in prison for two years. Now he is being released and is hoping to go back to his wife and settle down, but all hell breaks loose when he finds out that his mother married someone else during his absence and has given birth to a baby!

The series cast list includes Siamak Ansari, Ashkan Khatibi, Parviz Fallahipour, Mehraneh Mahintorabi, Mohsen Qazi-Moradi, and Nader Soleymani.

‘If My Dad Were Alive’, made in 2004, is a replacement for the series ‘Sweet and Sour’, which is scheduled to go on air daily at 20:00 GMT (00:30 Tehran time).

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00 (all GMT times). It is comprised of 26 episodes.
